Balasekaran is a Tamil and Telugu film director. He was once an assistant to K. Balachander.[1]
Career
After Love Today, Balasekaran started work on a film titled Sollamalae for producer R. B. Choudary but later opted out. The producer released a film with the same name and a different script, later in 1998.[2] In 2003, the director was signed on by producer Prakash Raj to direct a film titled Thillalangadi starring Prabhu Deva and Sneha. However the film failed to proceed and the venture was shelved. In 2010, Jayam Raja revived the project with different concept and story.[3]
