Bakhtiyarpur college of engineering (BCE Patna) is a technology institute established in year 2016 by the Government of Bihar under the Department of Science and Technology[1]. It is approved and recognized by AICTE and is affiliated to Aryabhatta Knowledge University(AKU) in Patna. It started its first academic session[2](2016-17) from old campus of the Indian Institute of Technology Patna at Patliputra Colony. The institute offers full-time Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree programs in disciplines of science and technology: College will have four engineering branches - computer science, civil, mechanical, and electrical & electronics.

ADMISSION

The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board[3](BCECEB) conducts an exam based on the Merit List of the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination successful candidates appear in the counselling at the office of the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board in Patna.

Campus and location

BCE Bakhtiyarpur’s campus is located at Patliputra colony, Patna. College is operating from a temporary complex in Pataliputra colony, Patna, in buildings which have been renovated and were previously used by the IIT Patna.
