Bai Yan (born Yan Bo Yuan (阎伯元) on 1920) is a Singaporean actor. Ban Yan is a retired prominent multi-disciplined performer, ranging from theatre to dance and a magician. Affectionately known to Singaporeans as "Bai Yan shu shu" (Uncle Bai Yan), he is a household name in the Singapore television dramas scene.[1][2]
His love story with his late wife Ye Qing was featured in a 2018 Channel NewsAsia documentary, Love in A Time of Change: Love Is A Stage: Bai Yan & Ye Qing.[3]
