Baeckea gunniana is an Australian plant commonly known as alpine baeckea.
It usually grows over 1000m altitude, in damp rocky location or bogs.[1] It is found in the ACT, New South Wales, Tasmania and Victoria.[1]
Baeckea gunniana is a very dense shrub. It has a tea-tree aroma when crushed.[2] It is usually between 0.5 and 1 metre in height. It sometimes spreads over rocks. White flowers appear between December and April, and are around 4–5 mm in diameter.[1] Tea came be made from the leaves, producing a citrus taste.[3]
It enjoys regular watering, especially during summer.[1]
