Badminton Association of Ghana

The Badminton Association of Ghana is the governing body of badminton in Ghana. It was founded in 1974 under the auspices of the National Sports Council. In 1976, it became a full member of the African Badminton Federation and International Badminton Federation.[1]

Presidents

Since its inception, the Badminton Association of Ghana has had six chairmen.[2]

  • Lt. Col Kumi in 1974
  • Mr. Akainyah from 1974-1979
  • Mr. F.M. Dickson from 1980-2001
  • Mr. Charles K. Darko from 2001-2004
  • Mr. Paul Kodjokuma from 2004-2008
  • Mr. Nestor Percy Galley from 2009-2016
  • Mr. Yeboah Evans from 2017 - present
