History

BackOffice Associates, LLC was founded in 1996[2]. Over the years, the company has released several software solutions, including the Data Stewardship Platform (DSP)[3] and information governance products.[4] Backed by Goldman Sachs, the company bought out its founders, Tom Kennedy and Trish Kennedy,[5] in 2012.[6] In 2017, Bridge Growth Partners joined the ownership team when they made a majority investment in BackOffice Associates.[7]

Acquisitions

  • In April 2016, BackOffice Associates acquired CompriseIT, a UK-based consulting firm specializing in helping enterprises adopt SAP's Business Suite 4 SAP HANA.[8]
  • In December 2013, BackOffice Associates acquired ENTOTA, UK-based SAP data services consultancy.[9]
  • In July 2012, BackOffice Associates acquired Headwall Software Inc., a Canada-based custom mobile solutions company.[10]
