"Baby Take Me in Your Arms" is a 1969 song by Jefferson. It was the second release from his first LP, The Colour Of My Love. It had first been recorded by the Paper Dolls in 1968.
The song became a pop and adult contemporary hit during the winter of 1970 in the U.S. and Canada. Although the artist is British and the LP was released in the UK, the single was not.
Edison Lighthouse covered the song on their 1971 LP, Already. Their rendition is entitled, "Take Me in Your Arms".
