BabyEye Taylor (born as Alphanso Taylor on June 7, 1992) is a Liberian born rapper and songwriter. BabyEye Taylor was born in Liberia but raised in Ghana and the United States.[1] He embarked on his musical career as a teenager under the releasing of singles such as "Swaggaholic" and" I Go Hard".

Career and influences

He began to gain major recognition in 2016, after the release of his mixtape "20/20" which debuted singles such as "Trap Holiday", "Rih Rih," etc. By that time, he had amassed a large Internet following and collaborated with several prominent artists in the hip hop industry, including Lil Scrappy, SWIFT,[2] Yalee,[3] etc.

Growing up listening to guys like Tupac Shakur, The Notorious B.I.G., Jay Z, Nas, Eminem, 50 Cents and Jadakiss had heavy impact in his music career and have also stated that Tupac Shakur and 50 Cents are his biggest influences.

Musical style

Being that he grew up in different cultures, he was exposed to different musical genres. BabyEye's sound is heavily influenced by the South and West Coast's hip hop from the 90s.
