Bab al-Amer

Bab al-Amer (Arabic: باب الأمر) is one of the gates of Fez. It is founded in 1276 by the Marinids as an entrance to the Fes Jdid, the extended area to the Fes el Bali. It is located alongside the Mellah (Jewish quarter) and the Alawite Square.[1][2]
