Azam Football Club is a Tanzanian football club,. play in the Tanzanian Premier League. Azam FC gained promotion into the Premier League for the first time ever in their short history in 2008–09. In the 2011–12 season, the club finished in a historic second place and qualified for the 2013 CAF Confederation Cup.

Azam won the Tanzanian Premier League in 2013–14, finishing 6 points ahead of second place Young Africans SC.[1]
