Avi Nash (born January 24, 1984) is an American actor known for his role as Siddiq in the AMC post-apocalyptic horror television series The Walking Dead (2017–present).[1][2]

Biography

Avi Nash is an actor living in Los Angeles. Born in the United States. Before graduating from Stanford University with Honors in Mathematics and Architectural Design, he left to attend acting school under Anupam Kher at Actor Prepares (Mumbai). Avi graduated from the Diploma programme at Actor Prepares in the year 2014 and displayed an extraordinary talent in the craft.

Now in Los Angeles, he made his feature film debut in Learning to Drive alongside Sir Ben Kingsley and Patricia Clarkson, directed by Spanish director Isabel Coixet. The film premiered at the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival where it won First Runner Up for the People’s Choice Award.

Armed with a unique background and strong passion, Avi continues to chase adventures and stories around the globe.

Personal life

Nash has graduated with an honors degree from Stanford University, where he majored in mathematical and computational science. Before The Walking Dead, Nash was also an English teacher and bicycle tour guide.[3]
