Avenue 32 was an online fashion retailer of luxury clothing, bags, shoes and jewellery.[1]

The company shut down in August 2017.[2]

History

London based e-tailer Avenue 32 was established in 2011[3] by Roberta Benteler and Juri von Randow.[4] Inspired to bring the essence of Avenue Montaigne[5] to the internet, Avenue 32 has quickly grown to become known as an online shopping destination for established and emerging fashion designers. Amongst other notable accolades since its inception,[6] British Vogue placed Avenue 32 second in its poll of one hundred of the finest ecommerce websites around today. In August 2017, Avenue 32 ceased operation and it was backed by Germany’s Benteler Group.[7][8]

Designers

Avenue 32 sells luxury womenswear including ready-to-wear, shoes, bags, jewellery, accessories and lifestyle products[9] to over 100 countries.[10] The hand-picked edit of designers includes internationally celebrated fashion houses and emerging talents such as Alexander Wang (designer), Phillip Lim and Temperley London.
