Augustine Kasujja

Archbishop Augustine Kasujja (born April 26, 1946) is the current Apostolic Nuncio to the kingdom of Belgium.

He was ordained priest on 3 January 1973 and incardinated in Ulgala diocese.[1] After his studies as doctor Theology, he entered in 1979 to the diplomatic service of the Pope. He was the first black African to be made a nuncio when John Paul II appointed him the Apostolic Nuncio to Tunisia and Algeria on 26 May 1998.[2]

Belgium

In November 2016 Pope Francis appointed him as the first non-European nuncio to Belgium and Luxemburg after six years as the papal nuncio to Nigeria.[3]

He was received by the King and the grand duke with his credentials on 2 February and 2 March.[4][5]
