American Idol
Aubrey previously competed in the Ninth and Eleventh seasons of American Idol, where she reached the final 60 and 42, respectively. She once again competed in the twelfth season where she once again progressed to the final 40 contestants. For her Top 40 performance, she sang Beyoncé's Sweet Dreams and advanced to the Semi-finals. In the top 20 semi-finals, she performed Fergie's Big Girls Don't Cry, however the public didn't vote her to be part of the Top 10 and she was eliminated. However, it was announced that a sing-off would take place between the top voted male and female who didn't make the Top 10, in order to join the American Idol Summer Tour. Aubrey beat Charlie Askew in sing-off and joined the other Top 10 contestants on the annual summertour.
