'Aswaraopeta is a Mandal in Bhadradri Kothagudem district, Telangana.[1] It is also a constituency of the Legislative Assembly of Telangana. Till 1959, it was part of Andhra region, the current West Godavari district. For administration purpose it was included in Telangana region.
