Assekrem

Assekrem is a high plateau[1][2] in the Hoggar Mountains of southern Algeria, rising from the larger Atakor plateau[3] Assekrem is within Ahaggar National Park.[3] The altitude is 2,180 metres (7,150 ft).[2]

The hermitage of Charles de Foucauld, which continues to be inhabited by a few monks, is at the top of the Assekrem plateau.[3]
