Assoc. Prof. Dato' Dr. Mohd Asri Zainul Abidin (born January 1, 1971), commercially known as Dr. Maza, is a popular independent Islamic preacher, writer, lecturer and Islamic consultant from Malaysia. He's currently a Mufti of Perlis for the second time since February 2, 2015.[1] His first term as a mufti was from 2006 until 2008.[2]
Controversy
Asri Zainul Abidin caustic poem post in Facabook about those who “idolised cows” has not gone down well with Malaysian social media users.[3][4]
