The Aslak Lie Cabin is located in Springdale, Wisconsin.[2]
History
Aslak Lie was an immigrant from Norway, where he had been a blacksmith, cabinetmaker and carpenter. He constructed his cabin in a combination of traditional Norwegian and American techniques. The cabin has since become a popular tourist destination. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986 and on the State Register of Historic Places in 1989.
