Askjem is a village in the municipality of Indre Fosen in Trøndelag county, Norway. The village is located near the southern tip of the Fosen peninsula, just west of the village of Stadsbygd.[3] The 0.35-square-kilometre (86-acre) village has a population (2017) of 308 which gives the village a population density of 880 inhabitants per square kilometre (2,300/sq mi).[1]
