Asim Chaudhry

Asim Chaudhry is a British comedian, actor, writer, author, and director.

He is best known for creating and playing Chabuddy G from BAFTA winning People Just Do Nothing for the BBC. The show, which he co-created, won best scripted comedy in at the 2017 BAFTA’s.[1][2] He was nominated for the 2017 ‘Best performance by a male in a comedy role’ BAFTA, [3][4][5] which was won by Steve Coogan. He was then nominated in 2018 for the same category.[6][7]

Asim starred and contributed additional material in the EMMY winning mockumentary 'Hoff the Record'.

His directorial debut 'Love Pool' was released in 2018.

Asim plays 'Arnab' in ‘High and Dry’ for Channel Four.[8]

He was a contestant on Taskmaster in May 2018, with Russell Howard, Tim Vine, Alice Levine, and Liza Tarbuck.[9]

Personal life

He is from Hounslow, London.[10]
