Asha Kumari (politician)

Asha Kumari is a leader of Indian National Congress and a All India Congress Committee secretary and AICC in charge of Punjab. She is a member of the Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly from Dalhousie.

Supreme Court in December 2011 confirmed the charges of "cheating, criminal conspiracy and forgery" and set aside She was education minister of the state from 2003 to 2005.

On 29 December 2017, Kumari gained controversy after she slapped a female constable during an argument, after which she slapped back by the constable.[1]
