History
Ascot Park was opened in 1914.
The station is located just south of where the Tonsley line branches off. The station has two tracks, either side of an island platform with a pedestrian subway connecting the platform to the two adjacent streets. The original 1914 station building was demolished and replaced with the current shelter in the 1970s. The station is not staffed and the toilets have been closed.
