Asadal Chronicles (Hangul: 아스달 연대기; RR: Aseudal Yeondaegi) is an upcoming South Korean television series directed by Kim Won-seok and written by Kim Young-hyun; starring Song Joong-ki, Jang Dong-gun, Kim Ji-won and Kim Ok-vin.[1][2][3]
Synopsis
The drama revolves around the power struggles, love and growth of the ancient city of Asadal, the capital of Gojoseon.

- A cursed child born in Blue Stone Village under an ominous sign. He later becomes conqueror of Asadal, taking it from city-state to empire.

- A war hero among the Saenyeok Tribe and master of strategy. He is ambitious and aims to become the first King of Asadal.
- Kim Ji-won as Tan Ya

- A woman born under a cursed sign and who overcomes adversity to become the first female politician of Asadal. She is Eun Seom's first love.
- Kim Ok-vin as Tae Ha[7]
- The last surviving Noeantal, a race different from humans, as well as the first Empress of Asadal.
