Aasaeli "Asa" Amone (born January 8, 1966) is a Tongan former rugby league and rugby union footballer, and dual code international for his country.[5]
Rugby union
Amone played four times for Tonga in 1987, including twice in the 1987 Rugby World Cup.[5]
His rugby union position was fly-half.[5]
Rugby league
He played for Tonga in the 1995 Rugby League World Cup.[6]
He was a Featherstone Rovers player[7] who also played for the Halifax Blue Sox.[2][8]
First Division Grand Final appearances
Asa Amone was a playing substitute in Featherstone Rovers' 24–22 defeat by Wakefield Trinity in the 1998 First Division Grand Final at McAlpine Stadium, Huddersfield on 26 September 1998.[9]
