Armand Dehaney

Armand Dehaney (born March 1, 1991)[1] is an American former Division I College Football Athlete[2].

High school career

Attending Walsh Jesuit High School[3], Dehaney was a three-sport athlete and multi-year team captain. In football, he led The Warriors to a 25-6 record during his career and was voted Most Valuable Player his senior year. On the track, Dehaney was a state qualifier in the long jump and MVP recipient.

Dehaney was one of 28 athletes honored at the NFF Northeastern Ohio Chapter’s 21st Annual Scholar-Athletes Award Banquet.[4]

Considered only a two-star recruit,[5] Dehaney was not ranked among the nation's top defensive backs. He committed to Ball State on July 31, 2008, picking the Cardinals over several other Mid-American Conference and Ivy League programs.

Collegiate career

Dehaney started as a true freshman at Ball State University, where he held one of the longest active playing streaks. Throughout his career, Dehaney faced several formidable opponents including Auburn, Oklahoma, and Iowa.
