Arjun Jayanand Nair (Malayalam: അർജുൻ നായർ; born 12 April 1998 in Canberra, ACT) is an Australian cricketer.[1] He made his first-class debut for New South Wales in February 2016 in the 2015–16 Sheffield Shield against South Australia at International Sports Stadium, Coffs Harbour.[2] He is also a part of the Sydney Thunder squad in the Big Bash League. He made his Twenty20 (T20) debut for Sydney Thunder in the 2016–17 Big Bash League season on 22 December 2016.[3] He graduated from Patrician Brothers' College, Blacktown in 2015.

Domestic career

2017–18 season

Nair played one match for New South Wales in the 2017–18 JLT One-Day Cup against Queensland. He bowled ten overs and conceded 71 runs.[4]

Big Bash League

  • Arjun Nair currently plays for the Sydney Thunder in BBL 2017. He picked up 2 wickets in the opening match of 2017 against the Sydney Sixers. He also scored the winning runs from the final ball of the match.
