Arjona is a municipality in the province of Jaén, Spain.
In 1194 Mohamed ibn Yusuf Ibn Nasar was born in Arjona in the Alcázar. This is now the hospital of San Miguel and known as the Casa del Rey. Ibn Nasar would become the future first Nasrid king of Granada.
