Aponotoreas insignis is a moth of the family Geometridae.[3] It is endemic to New Zealand.[4]

Taxonomy

This species was first described by Arthur Gardiner Butler in 1877.[5] In 1986 R. C. Craw described the new genus Aponotoreas and included A. insignis within it.[4]
