Aphalacrosoma is a genus of flies in the family Dolichopodidae, known from China and Taiwan.[3]

The generic name is derived from the negative prefix "a" and the generic name Phalacrosoma.[1]

Species

There are currently six species in the genus:

  • A. crypsus (Wei, 1998)[4]
  • A. hubeiense (Yang, 1998)[5]
  • A. modestus (Wei, 1998)[4]
  • A. postiseta (Yang & Saigusa, 2001)[2]
  • A. taiwanense Zhang, Yang & Masunaga, 2005[6]

A. sichuanense (Yang & Saigusa, 1999)[7] is a synonym of A. modestus (Wei, 1998).[4]
