Apex Friendship High School is a public high school in Apex, North Carolina that is part of the Wake County Public School System. It opened for the 2015–2016 school year to 9th and 10th graders only. During the 2016-2017 school year it added 11th graders, and the following year expanded to add 12th graders. The class of 2018 was the first to graduate. The class of 2019 will be the first to graduate after being there all 4 years. It is known to have a 4x4 block schedule.

Originally, the name West Apex High School was proposed for the school. Later, the current name was chosen due to the school's proximity to the Friendship community. Friendship was named for the spirit of cooperation between freed slaves, white residents, and Native Americans shortly after the Civil War.

On March 16, 2018, due to students repeatedly being late to class, a warning bell now sounds when its one minute before classtime. This was 3 months after the new tardy system was activated, where students go to a tardy center and get a pass. Teachers were required to close their door at the bell.[1]
