"Any Way You Want It" is a single by The Dave Clark Five from the United States album Coast to Coast (1964). It hit number #25 in the United Kingdom and #14 in the United States of America. The song is written by Dave Clark. The song is notable for its use of echo and reverb made by an Echoplex. The song has been performed on many variety shows like The Ed Sullivan Show, Shindig!, etc. Since the song used so many production techniques like echo, reverb, and compression, the song had to be lip-synched on television performances. In the United Kingdom, the b-side to "Any Way You Want It" was "Because".

Remakes

The song was recorded by Kiss on the studio side of their second live album, Alive II (1977).

It was also performed by the Ramones, featuring Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam as a guest vocalist, at their last show, August 6, 1996, at The Palace, Los Angeles, CA. This version can be found on the band's last live album We're Outta Here! (1997).

A studio version,[1] which features C.J. Ramone as Joey Ramone's duet partner instead of Vedder, appears as a bonus track on Greatest Hits Live (1996).

Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers include their version of the song on their career-spanning box set, The Live Anthology (2009), appearing on Disc 3 of 4.
