Anvita Health

Anvita Health, founded in 2000 and formerly known as SafeMed, was a healthcare analytics company located in San Diego, California, that served doctors, health managers, disease management companies, point-of-care information technology (IT) systems, personal health record (PHR) providers and other clinical providers to help prevent avoidable medical errors. The company was acquired by Humana Inc. (NYSE: HUM) in 2011. In March of 2015, Anvita Health integrated with Certify Data Systems and nliven systems to form Transcend Insights, a population health management (PHM) technology company.

History

In December of 2011, Humana announced[1] its acquisition of Anvita Health.

In March of 2015, Humana announced[2] the formation of Transcend Insights, a convergence of its three California-based subsidiaries: Certify Data Systems, Anvita Health and nliven systems. The merge brought together more than 30 years of collective experience in the healthcare IT space.
