Anuj Tiwari (born 22 November, 1988) is the Indian author of four novels. His first novel, Journey of Two Hearts, was published by Srishti Publishers in 2012.[1]

He is the recipient of the Newspapers Association of India Achiever Awards 2014, which named him as the "Best Upcoming Novelist".[2] [3] In 2017, he was shortlisted for the 2018 International Young Author Awards.[4][5] Having studied in a Sanskrit-medium school and watching other children read English books, life has come a full circle for small-town author Anuj Tiwari, who now has four novels in the language to his credit. But the journey has not been an easy one for Tiwari, who was born and brought up in Uttar Pradesh Bareilly, where he dreamt of writing books but kept those dreams to himself for the fear of being mocked at. [6] A speaker in many colleges and universities, his stories are based on real-life incidents that he has recorded over the years. With an MBA degree in finance and human resources management, Anuj works in Mumbai as an IT professional and marketing consultant.[7]

Career

Tiwari speaks at TEDx conferences in India.[8] Anuj Tiwari is from those kinds of people who don’t believe in pre-requisites and pre-defined things, so there was no inspiration from any authors because he did not read even a single book, so for him writing just happened.[9] [10] He writes about reality which readers can relate with. His first book ‘Journey Of Two Hearts’ was based on a diary (gifted to him by his girlfriend) he used to write when he was in the hospital. His recently released book, ‘It had to be You’ is again a reflection or rather the reality itself.[11]
