Anita Turner

Anita Turner (born 1972) is a British script editor, and television producer. From 2008 to 2009 Turner was the series producer of the British television soap opera Emmerdale.[1]

Early career

Turner worked as a script editor for the ITV series Emmerdale, and held that role for three years.

Emmerdale

Turner replaced Kathleen Beedles as series producer of Emmerdale in early 2008.[2] Her first produced episode aired on Monday 3 March, 2008; it featured the civil partnership celebration of the characters Paul Lambert and Jonny Foster.

On 17 January 2009, it was announced that Turner would leave her role as series producer of the show.[3]
