Angela Cockerham is a Democratic member of the Mississippi House of Representatives, representing the 96th district. Cockerham joined the Mississippi House appropriations committee in 2013.[1]
According to Cockerham, she doesn't cast votes based on her party affiliation but based upon her beliefs:[2]
When I'm casting my vote, I'm voting my conscience, based upon what is in the best interest for my district and the state.
