Andrew T. Guzman is the dean of USC Gould School of Law.[1] Formerly, he was the Jackson H. Ralston Professor of Law and Associate Dean at UC Berkeley School of Law, where he is also the Director of the Advanced Law Degree Programs, and Associate Dean for International and Advanced Degree Programs.[2][3]

He holds a B.Sc. from the University of Toronto (1990), a J.D. from Harvard Law School (1996), a Ph.D. in economics, also from Harvard, also in 1996.[3] He is a member of the Academic Council of the Institute for Transnational Arbitration.[3][4] Among other publications, he is the author of Overheated,[5] How International Law Works,[3] and International Trade Law

Research and teaching

Guzman is a specialist in international trade,[6] international regulatory matters, foreign direct investment,[7] and public international law.[8] He teaches foreign investment law, international law and international relations, international trade, and contracts.
