Andrew Lang (Australian politician)

Andrew Lang was a Scottish-born Australian politician.

He was the son of William and Mary Lang; his father was a small landowner and ship's joiner. He migrated to New South Wales and acquired land near Maitland and in the Illawarra. From 1858 to 1861 he was a member of the New South Wales Legislative Council.[1]

The house he built at Maitland, Dunmore House, is now heritage-listed.[2]
