Anasuya Bharadwaj is an Indian television presenter[2] and actress.She is a film actor who works predominantly in Telugu cinema and Telugu Telivision shows. She received IIFA Award for Best Supporting Actress in Female in Telugu in 2017 for her role in the movie Kshanam.[3] She also received SIIMA Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role in 2017 for her role in the movie Kshanam.[4]
Early life
Bharadwaj received her MBA (Master of Business Administration) from Badruka College in 2008, after which she worked as an HR executive. Refusing a lot of early movie offers, she worked as a TV anchor for Sakshi TV.[5]
Career
After working as a news presenter for Sakshi TV, Bharadwaj appeared as a TV anchor on Jabardasth, a comedy show. The show elevated her career. After this, she got an opportunity to act in film opposite Akkineni Nagarjuna in Soggade Chinni Nayana. Later, in the same year, she made her debut with Kshanam in which she portrayed a negative lead role.[6] As a known anchor Bharadwaj has hosted many award shows, like Zee Kutumbam Awards and Star Parivar Awards, and she has hosted Okarikokaru Awards on Zee Telugu three times. She has performed at Apsara awards function and GAMA Awards Dubai. She hosted Devi Sri Prasad's US concert.Her recent movie is Rangasthalam where she played as Rangamatta to Ram Charan.[7]
