Amy Liptrot

Amy Liptrot is a British journalist and author. She won the PEN Ackerley Prize 2017 and the Wainwright Prize 2016 for her memoir The Outrun (2016, Canongate Books, ISBN 978-1782115472).[1][2]

The Outrun describes her experience of returning to live in her native Orkney to rehabilitate after ten years in London including alcoholism and drug use.[3][4][5]
