Amir Ganiel

Amir Ganiel (Hebrew: אמיר גניאל) (January 6, 1963 in Jerusalem – May 14, 2018[1]) was an Israeli swimming champion and record holder in swimming who participated in the World Championships in Berlin for the national team. He specialized in long distance. He has been cited as one of the greatest Israeli swimmers,[2] with 11 records. His son, Imri Ganiel, is also a swimmer national recorder holder and olympic swimmers of Israel.
