Amin Palangi is an Iranian-Australian director and writer.[1][2] He is best known for his work on the films Love Marriage in Kabul, Seeing the Elephant, Close Distance and more.[3][4]

Career

Amin is an Australian Film, Television and Radio School graduate, holds a PhD in film from Australian National University[5][6] and Screen Production Lecturer at University of New South Wales.[7] In 2011, He founded the Persian International Film Festival in Australia.[8][9] His debut feature documentary Love Marriage in Kabul was finalist for ‘Excellence In Journalism’ at the Walkley Awards,[10] and ‘Best Director Feature Documentary’ from the Australian Directors Guild.[11]
