Amrendra Pratap Singh

Amrendra Pratap Singh is a leader of Bharatiya Janata Party from Bihar. He was a member of Bihar Legislative Assembly elected from Arrah to the assembly three times in 2000, 2005 and 2010. He is Grandson of Sardar Harihar Singh, a freedom fighter and a former Chief Minister of Bihar. He had been an active trade union leader with affiliation to Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh in Jamshedpur. Amrendra Pratap Singh is serving as Deputy speaker of Bihar Legislative Assembly since 2012.[1]

Singh lost in the Bihar Legislative Assembly election, 2015 to Mohammad Nawaz Alam of the Rashtriya Janata Dal.[2]
