Amar Sidhu is an American Actor / Producer / Dermasurgeon. He is best known for starring as Arjun in the 2010 action film Aakhari Decision.[1]

Medical career

Sidhu attended the University of Washington and received his first degree in psychology. He went on to pursue medicine at Tulane University in New Orleans and received his Doctor of Medicine degree.[2]

During his medical training at Tulane University, Sidhu became the president of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He was also awarded the Outstanding Leadership Award and went on to become the Valedictorian of his graduating class.[2]

Following his completion of medical school, Sidhu began his general surgery training at Virginia Mason Medical Center with a focus in plastic surgery. He then completed his residency in dermatology at the University of Southern California and was awarded the "Outstanding Resident Award," which is an honor bestowed upon residents committed to excellence through the training of medical students.[2]

Sidhu runs his private practice in Glendora, California.

Acting and producing career

In 2008 Sidhu introduced his production company Ancient Arrow Films and by 2009 he produced and starred in Aakhari Decision, an action film. Sidhu played the lead role of Arjun, a contract hitman by profession. The film was theatrically released in India and North America in 2010.[3]

Amar Sidhu recently finished the film "The Black Russian" and it is in post production. This film is an action-drama film using narco-terrorism as it's back drop.

Currently Amar Sidhu is working on the Science-Fiction movie "Winter's Dream" which will begin production in 2013.
