Alopoglossus is a genus of lizards in the family Gymnophthalmidae. The genus is endemic to tropical South America.[1]

The genus Alopoglossus contains the following eight valid species:[1]

  • Alopoglossus viridiceps Torres-Carvajal & Lobos, 2014[2]

Nota bene: A binomial authority in parentheses indicates that the species was originally described in a genus other than Alopoglossus.
