Alok Babu (born 2 May 1989) is a Kannada rapper cum music-producer.[1] He is most predominantly known for Kannada rap songs like young engo 1 & 2, nan kannadiga, deja vu, ka 01, urban Lads and many more.
Early ife
Alok was born to Ramesh Babu D, who ran a business, and Tara Ramesh, a house wife. He has a younger sister, Ankita R Babu. He completed his PUC in Sri Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain College and later pursued his BBM degree from City college of management studies at Bengaluru.
Career
He started his career as lead singer in Kannada's fist hiphop band & album Urban lads and acted as one of the lead for Kannada super hit movie Jossh. Since then he has acted in more than twenty five movies in five different languages and has composed, directed and produced many independent music video's which has gone viral across Karnataka and India. Many of his productions have been covered by the media.[2][3][4]
