Alexandra Jean Theresa "Allie" DiMeco (born June 12, 1992)[1] is a retired American actress and multi-instrumentalist primarily known for playing the role of Nat Wolff's main love interest Rosalina in the musical comedy series The Naked Brothers Band.[2]

Early life and career

Allie DiMeco played piano, bass guitar and cello in the Nickelodeon series The Naked Brothers Band.[3] She also starred in The Naked Brothers Band: The Movie.[2] She can play instruments including the bass guitar, cello, drums, and the violin. Allie is part Korean, French, Italian, English, German, Caucasian and more. She is the daughter of Laura Dimeco. Her father died when she was only five. She has a dog named Chloe.

Allie started acting and modeling at the age of five. Ever since, she has had a great interest in arts and entertainment business. Allie loves to dance and practices gymnastics. She has been doing both since the age of 12.[4] Other acting credits include the Late Show with David Letterman, One Life to Live, Saturday Night Live, The King and I (National Tour) as Princess Ying Yawolak.[5] She was nominated for a Young Artist Award for 2008 for her work in the Naked Brothers Band ensemble cast.[6] She also recently appeared in an ad that was part of LG's mobile harassment campaign, "Give it a Ponder."

In 2008, she was involved in a brief controversy when several pictures of herself and her friends making racy poses in bikinis and lingerie were leaked onto the internet, due to her Myspace account being hacked as part of a larger security breach on the website. DiMeco was 15 at the time.[7]

DiMeco hasn't appeared on screen since 2009 and has declared her retirement from acting on her YouTube account. She is currently living in Miami, Florida. After previously attending school in Connecticut (Holy Cross High School) she studied privately with tutors, while taking some classes at a college. She is a graduate from Florida International University and was a member of Phi Sigma Sigma sorority.
