It first reached the Billboard magazine charts on June 16, 1956. On the Disk Jockey chart, it peaked at #2; on the Best Seller chart, at #5; on the Juke Box chart, at #2; on the composite chart of the top 100 songs, it reached #2.[1] The song was also a hit in Australia peaking at #3.
