Alice Jean White also known as Alice Jackson (born 20 January 1993) is a British-New Zealand female rower.[1][2] She has represented both New Zealand and Great Britain in junior and senior level rowing competitions.[3] White has competed at the annual UK Boat Race in both 2017 and 2018, representing Cambridge.[4][5]

Early life

Alice White was born to Edward White and Louise Wild on 20 January 1993. She lived in Yorkshire, England, until the age of ten when her parents emigrated to New Zealand.[6]

Career

White started rowing in 2009 when she was living in New Zealand. She represented New Zealand at the 2011 World Junior Rowing Championships.[7]

She moved to UK after 2011 and then went onto represent Great Britain in senior level rowing competitions.[8]

White matriculated to Homerton College, Cambridge, and represented Cambridge University (in 2017 and 2018) in The Boat Race.[9] Cambridge won on both occasions.[10][11]
