Alfons Siffer
Alfons Fréderic Siffer, died 1941 was a Belgian politician and publisher of Catholic works.[1]
He had a successful career in Ghent, and became the major editor of the Royal Academy of Dutch language and literature. He was catholic mayor of Ghent between 1909-1911. During the war he was arrested by the Germans in 1914 as hostage.

- 1932 : Knight grand Cross in the Order of Leopold II.[2]
