Alexei Popyrin (born 5 August 1999) is an Australian tennis player of Russian descent.

Popyrin has a career-high ATP singles ranking of No. 186 achieved in September 2018. He also has a career-high ATP doubles ranking of No. 1556 achieved on 19 September 2016.

Popyrin has a career-high combined juniors ranking of No. 2 achieved on 12 June 2017. He reached the semifinals at the 2017 Australian Open in the junior doubles tournament.[1] He then followed that up by winning the 2017 French Open junior singles title. In the aftermath of his French Open triumph, Popyrin decided to focus on the pro circuit, winning his first ITF title in July 2017 at the Poland F4 in Mragowo Poland. This victory resulted in him breaking into the top 1000 for the first time. Popyrin made his Grand Slam debut at the 2018 Australian Open after being awarded a wildcard.[2] Later in August 2018 Popyrin won the 150,000 Euro ATP Challenger Tournament in Jinnan, China beating James Ward (UK) 3-6, 6-1, 7-5 in the final and breaking into the ATP top 200.
